Carpenters Food & Support works with trusted organisations across Bristol to ensure that emergency food support reaches households experiencing severe financial hardship.
If your organisation supports people facing crisis, you may be eligible to register as a referral agency.
Registration helps us maintain a consistent, fair, and accountable system for everyone we support.
How to Register as a Referring Agency
Appoint a main contact
Choose a designated person who will oversee referrals, ensure accuracy, and act as your organisation’s primary communication link.

Complete the registration form
Submit your organisations details, support offered, and contact information. This helps us understand your remit and ensure appropriate use of the referral system. Every individual making referrals will need to complete this.

Receive your login details
Once approved, you will receive an email granting you access to our online voucher system (an email version is available on request). Log in can be found in the top right hand corner of the menu bar.

Submit referrals responsibly
To ensure fair and smooth processing, please: confirm clients meet our eligibility criteria, complete vouchers accurately and submit vouchers by 2pm on Tuesday.

What Happens After You Register
Once registered, you will be able to submit referrals directly through our voucher system. Each referral is individually assessed to ensure support is appropriate and aligned with our criteria. If accepted, we will contact the client with an appointment time and guide them through the next steps.
Be aware that late vouchers received after the Tuesday 2pm deadline may be processed the following week. If the deadline is missed, clients may obtain a referral from South Bristol Advice Services during their Wednesday drop‑in from 10am.
