What You Can Recieve
Support that meets your immediate needs
Every week, we provide a range of food and essential items to help you through a difficult time. What we offer depends on donations and supermarket collections, but we always do our best to meet your household’s needs.
This page explains the types of items you may receive and how we tailor support to your situation.
Food You May Recieve
We will provide you with food towards a week's meals. However, please ensure you bring your own bags. You will receive a selection of groceries that may include:
-
Ambient items: Tinned foods, pasta, rice, sauces, cereals, and other long‑life essentials.
-
Fresh produce: Fruit, vegetables, and other fresh items when available.
-
Bakery goods: Bread, pastries, and other baked items from local supermarket collections.
-
Easy‑to‑prepare foods: Especially helpful if you have limited time, energy, or cooking facilities.
If you have limited access to cooking equipment (for example, no oven, no hob, or no fridge/freezer), please tell us — we can adapt what we provide to suit your situation.
We will always ask about dietary needs, allergies, and foods you won’t use. This helps us support you properly and reduce waste.

Household Items
When available, we may also offer toiletries, cleaning products, nappies or baby items and household essentials. Availability varies week to week, but if you need something specific, please tell us — we may be able to put out a community appeal.

Pet Food
We try to keep pet food available for dogs and cats. No one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding a companion animal. If you need pet food, just let us know.

Seasonal Items
At certain times of year, we may also provide festive food items, winter essentials and extra fresh produce when donations are high. These items depend entirely on donations.
What We Cannot Guarantee
Because all food and items are donated, we cannot guarantee:
-
Specific brands
-
Specific quantities
-
The same items each week
However, we will always do our best to meet your needs and make sure you leave with a balanced selection of food.
