Life can turn in an instant! From a long-term well-respected job to being unable to work due to a shattering health event.

This situation, hard for most people to handle, was compounded by the employment being linked to a right to work visa. Navigating the aftermath of illness, strict time limits, uncertainty involved in reapplying for a different type of visa, concern the family would be split up and the lack of entitlement to any benefits during this period made it so hard to cope. With our food support and through conversations we were able to signpost to help Dad was unaware of.

He has regained British Citizenship, allowing him to qualify for benefits bringing much-needed stability back to the family. An answer to prayer!
