When The Spuds Ran Out!

Today was a tough hot day. With fewer volunteers than usual,

limited fresh fruit and veg, and a sudden increase in people needing support, our supplies were stretched further than ever.

White cabbages were divided into smaller portions, all our fresh and frozen potatoes were used up, along with most of our remaining tinned potatoes. We also had no halal meat to distribute.

Despite these challenges, our volunteers once again stepped up with incredible determination and teamwork. Thanks to their efforts and your donations, everyone who came to us received alternative supplies. But all basic stocks are low!

This is a powerful reminder that demand is growing and resources are under pressure.
