A Christmas Gift Drive for Tweens and Teens

Making Sure No Young Person Is Overlooked

Last Christmas, one of our volunteers noticed something quietly important: while younger children often receive plenty of gifts, older children and teenagers can sometimes be forgotten. Wanting to change that, she created a dedicated Amazon wish list filled with thoughtful, age appropriate presents for tweens and teens.

It was a simple idea — and the community responded with extraordinary generosity.

Every Gift Found a Home

Thanks to the kindness of supporters, every single item on the wish list was donated and chosen by a young person who might otherwise have gone without. Families were able to pick presents that felt personal and meaningful — from headphones and journals to cosy winter accessories and creative gifts.

The joy on the faces of the young people who received them said everything.

Seen, Valued, Included

This thoughtful initiative ensured that older children felt just as seen and celebrated as their younger siblings. It brought dignity, choice, and a sense of belonging to families during a time of year that can be especially difficult.
