A Harvest of Generosity

It’s lovely to hear that so many local

churches celebrated Harvest last weekend through prayer, song and bountiful gifts given to us to distribute to the people we support.

Our heartfelt thanks go to

Knowle Methodist Church,

St Martin’s Knowle,

St Nicholas Whitchurch,

St Peter’s,

St Pius Xth & Sacred Heart Churches and

Withywood Church

who donated an amazing 411.2kg of food.

"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." Psalm 107:1

It made for a wonderfully exhausting day accepting and sorting all the lovely donations that came in. Many of our people went home with a wider than usual range of fresh items including some that had been home grown and harvested.

We’re sending individual Harvest thank-you letters to acknowledge every generous contribution and the communities behind them.

And there’s more to come! Next week, we’re delighted to be receiving Harvest gifts collected by some of our local schools, continuing this wonderful season of sharing.
