A group of young people are joining us

for an hour each Wednesday morning as part of their work experience programme. They have quickly become part of the team, bringing plenty of positive energy to our dating and sorting activities.

Their teacher shares: Venturers’ Academy Post-16 students have loved supporting the Carpenters staff, learning valuable skills along the way. Most importantly, they’ve built meaningful relationships and are beginning to see how volunteering can strengthen communities and enrich their own lives.

We have received encouraging feedback following the launch of our new www.carpentersfoodandsupport.com. A big thank you to all who have taken the time to explore it. We now encourage local referrers to register as members so they can access the resources and support available through the site.
