We Bucked The Trend This Week!

Last night, BBC Points West highlighted the worrying drop

in food bank donations, something we’ve been experiencing.

Sharing our concerns with local Vicar Josh Bradshaw, he immediately rallied support through Facebook. Within days, an incredible 174kg of food was donated, with pledges to make regular financial contributions.

Then volunteer Chris arrived with DOLE

colleague Vicky, bringing a fantastic staff donation of 50kg! Wendy, the Withywood Centre Mangager gratefully received the gifts on our behalf, with much laughter as Wendy and Vicky realised they had known each other since the age of 11!
